Something had to give.
Last Monday Dan headed for Edinburgh, I like my kids to travel but I'm not comfortable with the travelling part & as his plane was delayed I didn't sleep well. He's coming home tonight full of stories about the Edinburgh Fringe Festival & is under instruction to text me when his plane lands in Canada & when he reaches home.
Mark got up at 4am Tuesday to go to Tilbury to work & stayed until Friday. Strangely I don't sleep well when he is gone.
We planted new plants & have grass seed that needs day & night watering at the moment. Our yard looks great.
The dishwasher is broken so all dishes are getting done by hand.
We had to go to a funeral on Sunday for a close friend of Mark's & I had to scramble to find a driver for Jim, thank goodness for Grandpa Bill.
Jimmy has had his busiest two weeks of the Camelot schedule since rehearsal ended, I've been driving lots, night shows we get home at 12. We also went to see Grapes of Wrath on Saturday night, fantastic!, but another late night.
I've been busy with OKTC, lots of cheques to write when camp is on (we go from 10 employees to 60+) and I got a new computer - once it was finally working correctly yesterday I was a happy woman but I'm one of those people who fusses & can't sleep well if something is going wrong at work & moving from one computer to another was really a pain.
So last night after dinner & dishes, I hoped in bed & fell asleep by 8pm. I feel great today! Good thing, Jim has a Camelot performance tonight at 8pm & Dan is about to start the run of Romeo & Juliet at the McManus.
